World Teacher's Day

Today is World Teacher's Day being celebrated at my sons' primary school.  I found this desk idea when I googled teachers gift ideas.  Then using Tanya Bell's matchbox gift box idea, I created a desk for each of my boys to give to their teachers.

Here is Brandon's teacher desk -

Here is Benjamin's teacher desk -

I used Stampin' Up! DSP Flashback as the first desk, the pattern paper reminded me of paperclips and the second of maths grid paper.  I filled the top drawers with staples, paperclips and sticky notes. The other drawers with lollies and chocolates.  The teacher's thought they were great.

Santa Staching

Sharing with you some Christmas cards I have made for my Mum to give her siblings.  There are 10 children in my Mum's family with my Mum being the eldest.  I have used a stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Santa Stache.  I didn't order this set when first saw the Stampin' Up! holiday catalogue but I love nutcrackers so therefore I eventually bought the set with matching mustache framelits.  Then after purchasing the set I realised that I could use the Santa stamp for my Mum's cards as she only gives cards with Santa Claus on them.  So every year I have to find a new way to invent a Santa card.

I used some of my retired Stampin' Up! stache (hehe) of designers series paper and ribbon and teamed it with the new white glimmer paper.

Don't look too close at my photography as they are a little blurry.

Bats about you

Today I am sharing with you my card club swaps for October with the them of 'Card in a Box".  I have made a few of these now, so I decided to go with a new theme and being October, I chose Halloween.  I created a ghost and an owl using punch art.  Also using spider web embossing folder to create a different look on the outside of the box.

Happy Birthday Aunty

Today I am sharing with you a card my Mum asked me to make for her sister who likes owls.  Yes I coloured the same image recently for one of Mum's other sisters but they both like owls and this is the only stamp I have with owls.  This Aunty's favourite colour is blue so I changed it up a little from the previous one who liked purple.  Hope you like.

My Christmas card class

Yesterday I hosted a Christmas card frenzy with two ladies that I have classes for.  We got busy and created 10 cards in total.  I made some star boxes as decorations for the table and lots of other things but forgot to take photos.

Here are the star boxes.

We made these five gift note cards.

These are the five cards using Stampin' Up! paper stack 'Trim the Tree'

Love this Nutcracker!

Created snow hills with oval punch.

Santa Stache-ing!

The stars here are created with Stampin' Up! Stars Thinlits.
I love stars!

This is my take on the card in the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalogue on page 25.

This gift note card was created with some left over scraps.

Hope these get you motivated to start creating your Christmas Cards.
